\nWhile some things at Choix remain the same \u2013 and we love that! \u2013
\nwe also can rely on one thing always to change: Our students grow up and develop.

It’s Our Anniversary!<\/h2>\n

The School of Choice \/ l\u2019Ecole de Choix has an important anniversary: We are honored to celebrate 10 years of operations in Haiti<\/strong>, and are looking forward to our next decade.<\/p>\n

We have weathered some storms during our first decade \u2013 both literal and figurative \u2013 and currently Haiti faces challenges that are more profound than at any time in Choix\u2019s 10-year history. Yet, Choix and our community stand strong.<\/strong> Indeed, in times of crisis, our students, families, faculty and community members turn to us as a source of safety, knowledge and strength.<\/p>\n

Choix has been able to stand with Haiti only
\nbecause partners like you have stood with us for the past 10 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The past ten years have demonstrated that there is no quick fix to the country\u2019s systemic challenges and that a stronger country requires more than simply stronger buildings<\/strong>. What is needed: A vision for the future, and leaders equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to make that vision a reality. Quality education offers that sustainable foundation to move forward and our Choix students are hungry to arrive at school every day to access it!<\/p>\n

We acknowledge Haiti\u2019s present, but we are building for Haiti\u2019s future.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We hope that you will consider an exceptional contribution<\/a><\/strong> to Choix in honor of our 10th anniversary year so that, together, we can continue to provide young Haitians with an opportunity to choose a brighter path for themselves, their community and their country.<\/p>\n

There are many ways in which you can partner with Choix and make a difference in the lives of Haitian students. We invite you to learn more about them by exploring our Choix Guide to Giving<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One opportunity many contributors have found especially meaningful is to sponsor a Choix student or to support a Choix graduate with a scholarship<\/strong>. Not only does this partnership offer sustained support to Choix’s budget, but sponsors are able to communicate with Choix students and grads through our online portal, if they wish (all messaging is monitored by Choix’s Campus Director).<\/p>\n

In one message from a student to his sponsor, 11th grader Reginald wrote:<\/p>\n

\nI am really happy to have you as my sponsor. Despite the situation in my country, I will
\ncontinue to work hard because I have a dream<\/strong>, and this gives me more
\nencouragement to prove to you that your efforts are not in vain.
\nIt is for this reason that The School of Choice can be proud of us and motivate the
\nChoix community to help other children achieve their goals.
