Critical to social and emotional learning, play is an integral part of the Choix experience. Choix’s first graders find out early on that we learn both in and out of the classroom!

Our friend of Choix, Amy, has sponsored two students at Choix for many years. She shares these thoughts about why she continues to renew each year.

Choix is an incredible school in Haiti that is providing an opportunity for children AND the community to grow and prosper. Through the education of the children (stretching from first grade through the outreach into high school), involvement of the community via staffing at all levels, and sponsorship programs, the impact of Choix ripples far beyond the campus.
This ripple extends throughout the world.
Personally, I have caught the wave via the sponsorship program. It has been a joy and honor to contribute sponsorship support toward Ruthchelle and Krislove. The programs at Choix provide an environment where each child can dream bigger and develop their unique talents, knowledge and skills. The sponsorship program helps to improve the probability that the children can achieve (and even exceed) these dreams.
This ripple extends throughout the world.
My niece, Kelsey, and I traveled to Haiti to work on a project at Choix. During this time we were able to spend time with the lovely young ladies – Ruthchelle and Krislove. Our hearts grew when we hear the girls’ dreams… at the time Ruthchelle wanted to be ‘Miss Ione’ [Choix’s Campus Director] and Krislove dreamed of being a nurse.

Every sponsorship makes a difference
You can make a difference in our world today by investing in the responsible leaders of tomorrow. For over 10 years, Choix has partnered with Haitians to educate and develop Haitian youth and their families to lead their communities, Haiti and the world.
What is a sponsorship? Choix student sponsorships support Choix’s overall operating budget and thereby contribute to the education, health, nutrition and development of our students. They are available at multiple levels starting at $360/year (which can be contributed annually or at $30/month). More info here!
